Digital drawing of fig halves using procreate. A subtly suggestive drawing. I wanted to create a strong sense of the figs bathing in sunlight, hence the strong crisp shadow.
I start with a black outline before blocking in the colours.
Blocking in the colours of the fig. Once the colours are block I use the smudging too to blend everything.
Close up details of the middle of the fig.
When all the colours are blocked and blended I use the HB pencil tool to add depth, more details and highlights.
